Oskar Juhlin – Professor
Oskar is a professor at the Department of Computer and Systems sciences at Stockholm University, and he also leads the Mobility studio at the Mobile Life Vinn Excellence Centre. Oskar has worked in many fields related to the sociology of computing, including sociology of knowledge and engineering work and sociology of traffic and road use, related to the design of mobile applications for people on the road. His current approach draws on ethnographic fieldwork of mobile user practices to influence the design of various applications. The fields of interest covers the next generation of amateur video production, the role of fashionable aesthetics in mobile design, and human animal interaction.
